Artist in Residence, Takt Berlin Leipzig Zeitz Residency Program 

Selected to attend a self-guided three-month program where I pursued the creation of a poetry collection inspired by Fyodor Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov, and a film criticism article based on the representation of rape in Quentin Tarantino's cult classic Kill Bill and Paul Verhoeven's Elle.

Production Assistant, The Other Israel Film Festival 

Participated in the overall production task of the 16th The Other Israel Film Festival located at the JCC Manhattan. This annual film festival endeavors self-aware conversations between the Israeli and the Palestinian community. Responsibilities included : ticket taking, communication with filmmakers, moderators and their staff, backstage duties, and customer service with the week-long film festival attendees. I reported to Isaac Zablocki, Executive Director, and Lauren Stern, Associate Director. 

Programming and Logistics Volunteer, National Association of  Latin Independent Producers ( NALIP) 

Throughout the summer of 2021, I was part of the NALIP team that conceptualized and developed discussion sessions and panels about the Latinx experience in Hollywood, US Latinx representation in media, and changes behind the scenes in the industry. Participated in the events of NALIP Media Summit 2021, Diverse Women in Media Forum 2021, and Latino Media Fest. 

Film Distributor, BLB Productions 

Assistant to Dr. Barbara Berney, medical activist filmmaker of " Power to Heal", a documentary about Medicare and the civil rights movement, directed by Charles Burnett and narrated by Danny Glover. 
 

Creative Production Director of Sea Dance Documentary

Sea Dance is an art-making collective based in Brooklyn, NYC developing a documentary depicting how the psychological healing techniques of dance can describe emotions of disassociation/belonging to a group of four interviewees who have experienced a strong relationship to the ocean or climate change catastrophe. Alongside a visual narrative piece, as the creative production director alongside the documentary's creator Sia Luna, I would assemble a compendium of environmental activism literature in our website. 

Screener, Hamptons International Film Festival

For two years, 2021 and 2022, I was responsible for reviewing international and United States features and short films where I discussed cinematography, script, editing, and narrative tone.
